Casos como el de Aero Continente y Lan Perú, los usuarios versus Telefónica, el congresista Javier Diez Canseco versus el Ministro Kuczinsky, y el ascenso político del etnocacerismo, van configurando todo un escenario de alta hostilidad contra la iniciativa empresarial extranjera.
Con nacionalismo perdemos todos
Si no fuera por estos capitales no se generarían miles de puestos de trabajo, no habría innovación tecnológica, ni mejoramientos en los estándares de vida. Aunque todavía existe mucha pobreza y necesidades, una disminución de la inversión extranjera sería desastrosa. Es por eso admirable la capacidad de los empresarios chilenos y españoles, aun teniendo la desventaja de ser paises históricamente “enemigos”del Perú, estén arriesgando sus capitales en una economía pobre. Se han preguntado ustedes ¿quien perdería más en un conflicto bilateral?,¿no sería acaso el Perú?.Imaginense empresas como Saga Fallabela, Ripley, Texaco, Mobil, Mc Donald, Burger King, Cinemark, Marriot, Sheraton, Southern, entre otros, cerrando sus negocios y desempleando a decenas de miles de personas en la calle.
Desde luego que no somos partícipes del mercantilismo abusivo perpetrado por el estatismo que utiliza sus resortes de poder, lobbys, y mecanismos legales para favorecer tributariamente a ciertos empresarios extranjeros con la finalidad de hacerles ganar fácilmente dinero sin competir. Pero otra cosa es excusarse para condenar todo lo que suene a apertura económica con el exterior so pretexto que hay que favorecer lo que se ha hecho en el Perú por que así se da empleo a peruanos.

En un mundo globalizado los capitales no tienen bandera ni nacionalidad, la percepción arcaica de autosuficiencia es un tema del pasado. Ningún pais es autosuficiente ni en recursos naturales, tecnología, capitales, etc. Un peruano nacionalista debería consumir solo productos oriundos, es decir, no debería comer arroz, carne de res, fideos, etc. Debería vestirse solo con ropa nacional y fabricada con insumos y maquinaria peruana. No debería hablar castellano, ni leer, ni escribir y ver televisión. Ni siquiera escuchar radio, música criolla, hablar por teléfono y mucho menos usar celular. ¿Conoce usted a algún nacionalista consecuente?, ¿sabe en términos porcentuales cuan nacionalista es usted?. Si fuéramos nacionalistas deberíamos andar por las calles, semi desnudos con andrajos y sucio, delgado y hambriento, como cualquier individuo que calificamos de “orate”.

Por eso es falsa la idea que el Perú es un pais rico. La abundancia de recursos naturales de por sí no es riqueza por que la riqueza se hace, se produce por los aportes tecnológicos, financieros, humanos de los empresarios. ¿Para qué nos serviría el gas de Camisea si no pudiéramos usarlo como bien final? De igual modo, ¿nos sirve de algo los minerales sino pudiéramos extraerlo y comercializarlo?. La riqueza hay que crearla y depende de los empresarios y sus inversiones para realizarlo. Sino hay condiciones políticas e ideológicas propicias para el libre mercado, podemos esperar sentados muchas décadas en nuestro banco de oro como lo señaló profeticamente Raymondi.
Falso nacionalismo
Por eso es irracional los argumentos nacionalistas en su sentido crematístico. Tratan a la economía en términos "territorialistas” y "patrioteristas”. Es un nacionalismo de viejo cuño ya experimentado en la década de los setentas con la revolución velasquista que trajo expropiación agraria, atraso tecnológico y pobreza extrema en casi todo el territorio peruano. Se utilizó al nacionalismo para practicar el proteccionismo salvaje con aranceles de hasta 400% contra los productos importados que provocó una baja de competitividad en la industria nacional, fuertes desequilibrios en la balanza de pagos, millonarias pérdidas en el presupuesto estatal por el otorgamiento de subsidios a productos nacionales e imposición de cuotas, prohibiciones y reglamentos, dañando el estándar de vida de los peruanos.
Este nacionalismo es realmente antinacional. Pone en peligro a toda una nación por una falsas premisas que debilita económicamente nuestro aparato productivo frente al mundo. El viejo "nacionalismo" es hoy una barrera para crecer. Es preciso erradicarlo de la mente de muchos peruanos para derrumbar los poderosos y oscuros intereses económicos que hay detrás de la demagogía patriotera y territorialista.©
